Providing Public WiFi for Underserved Communities in Florida

The COVID-19 Global Pandemic has made access to fast, reliable internet more necessary than ever before, and low-income communities across Florida are being disproportionally affected as distance learning and social isolation widens the gap between the "haves" and the "have nots."
Our mission is to identify communities that would benefit from publicly accessible WiFi hotspots to allow their students to excel and their citizens to engage. With help from our industry partners (and you!) we can make a lasting difference in these areas.
For about $6,000 per installation, we can install fast, stand-alone public hotspot towers that use solar power and cellular data to provide access almost anywhere in the state. Better yet, this initial installation cost provides one year of service at no cost to local government. Following this initial period, the community can provide internet access indefinitely at low cost.
